I’m glad this article helped. No, I don’t know much more about this than I did back when I wrote it.

I remember reading though, that `will-change: transform` puts a strain on the rendering engine, and should be avoided if possible.

For now, this is the only fix I know, and I’ll be glad to find a better one.
